What you will do:

You will become an important part of a new multidisciplinary team. The team already consists of 5 talented professionals in packaging design. You will get the opportunity to learn something new every day and convert your creative expertise into innovative packaging solutions. You will actively work with customers, Sales teams, Design Studios, Business Development, and other new units in Stora Enso.

Job Description

In this international and innovative team, you will be responsible for creating innovative packaging ideas, structural designs and prototypes. We expect you to be able to convert the customers’ needs by using your creative expertise to develop new and inspiring packaging ideas. You will be responsible for the entire packaging design process: From leading workshops with customers to finalising design solutions for manufacturing.

You will also help strengthen Packaging Solutions’ process through which we serve existing and potential customers via design services.

You will work close to the Sales teams, Business Development and Product Management functions but also have direct customer contact and interaction to meet customers’ requirements on on both a technical, functional, and innovative level, ensuring that the packages can be manufactured. Internally you will be closely working with our corrugated Design Studios to utilize the best practices.

 

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
 Demonstrated ability to use structural design software as; Impact or Artios CAD, Autodesk Inventor, Illustrator, Keyshot or similar tools to produce and visualize professional designs in both 2D and 3D.

Experience in structural package design with production experience in the corrugated industry
