ICT Infra Specialist, Packaging Materials

We are looking for ICT Infra Specialist, Packaging Materials Oulu Mill to deliver our strategic objectives to lead through innovation and sustainability, while achieving highest possible operational efficiency by using the right digital enablers. Location of the position is Stora Enso Oulu Mill, ICT Cluster organization. IT Cluster consists of three Mill locations Oulu, Heinola and Varkaus (IT – Cluster OuHeVA). You will report to IT Cluster manager.

IT Cluster OuHeVa consist of three ICT teams located in the Oulu, Heinola and Varkaus providing services for production units of Packaging Materials division. All three ICT Teams reports to IT Cluster Manager. Purpose of this position in big a picture as a member of Oulu ICT Team is to improve the productivity of the production units and enable  new ways of working for the Operations function. OuHeVa IT Cluster is responsible for the managing, maintaining and developing the devices, technical infrastructure and digital applications of our pulp and board manufacturing operations. 

In this position, you are expected to bring your personality, communication skills, ICT skills for usage of Oulu Mill ICT team, IT Cluster team, division digitalization teams and partners for the benefit of the Cluster and PM Division. Your job is addition of daily transactions continuously seeking opportunities, study, be curious with available ICT approaches & technics but in the end drive value for our business. You are personally responsible for ICT daily transactions but in addition to that small-scale ICT projects too. 

We are expecting you to co-operate effectively with ICT & Digitalization experts both in the OuHeVa IT Cluster but also across Stora Enso group. You will work closely with the end users within Operations. Good communication & documentation skills are extremely important in that work as well as responsibility, good quality until final delivery attitude. You will work together with local digitalization approaches implementing digitalization local road map.

Qualifications  

We expect you to have degree/ studies in relevant field ICT. You have passion to help people grow and improve ways of working within your line organization and surrounding functions. You want to understand how IT/digital infra enablers can support to achieve Future Mill Digitalization needs. As a person, you are curious-minded and pro-active towards your stakeholders. It is vital that you possess strong networking and communication skills. Experience communicating ICT related issues with different type of target audience; end users, suppliers and manufactures is an asset for this position.  

You communicate well in English, other languages is an asset. This position requires quite a lot of time spent with English written documentation, instructions etc. Meetings with colleagues are quite often in English.
