Software Developer

The Packaging Solutions division develops and sells premium fiber-based packaging products and services. Stora Enso's high-end eco-friendly packaging products are used by leading brands across multiple market sectors, including the retail, e-commerce and industrial sectors. The portfolio includes converting corrugated board and cartonboard and converting new materials such as formed fiber and wood foams, as well as design and sustainability services, and circular and automation solutions.

We are now searching for an experienced Software Developer who ready to work independently in development and maintenance of our in-house build planning application S&OPlan. We are looking for a person who also has the willingness to join in the Supply Chain related IT landscape development overall and has a growth mindset and readiness to take up challenges in the ever-changing business environment. This role is located in Ostrava, Czech Republic.
 
Your daily work will consist of responsibilities such as: 


•    Maintenance of inhouse developed cloud-based S&OPlan application and related backlog 
•    Plan and develop the backlog (user stories and tasks) based on the definitions and priorities set by the Product Owner
•    Make sure development documentation is standardized and kept up to date
•    Preferably also S&OPlan related Power BI report maintenance and other data related activities

Who we are looking for?


What you should have or know to be successful in this position:


•    3+ year experience in Software Development
•    Proficiency in SQL, and Python for data analytics
•    Experience of Azure DevOps, Jira or similar
•    Azure Databricks and SQL Database knowledge
•    MS Outlook, Teams, Yammer
•    Ability to work in global environment and in virtual teams
•    Good communication and collaboration skills
•    Readiness to take the lead and facilitate discussions
•    Convert technical language to non-technical and vice versa
•    Working proficiency in English


Additional skills that are considered an advantage:


•    Experience Power BI development 
•    Linux VMS usage experience
•    R language, R Shiny development experience
•    Experience in planning solutions
•    Understanding of Supply Chain processes in manufacturing industry
