IT Infrastructure Service Manager

We are looking for an experienced and business-minded IT Infrastructure Service Manager to strengthen our Nordic IT and digitalisation team at Stora Enso Packaging Solutions.  In this position you will have a key role in developing sustainable infra services and processes to ensure availability, security, performance, scalability and reliability by leading a technical team and partners. You will be responsible for the locally maintained IT infrastructure and security for our equipment and devices used in our mills. Your location will be in one of our mills in Finland or Sweden. You will report to Nordic IT business partner.

As an IT Infrastructure Service Manager your main responsibilities are:
 
•    Management, governance and development of BU Nordic’s IT infrastructure
•    Lead the team of infra specialist and on-site support, develop ways-of-working
•    Develop and implement policies and procedures related to usage and operations of infrastructure technology and lifecycle activities based on group IT’s guidelines 
•    Single point of contact in IT infrastructure related needs in BU Nordic
•    Business continuity and recovery planning
•    Uphold IT infrastructure design and architectural standards, maintain documentation
•    Lead technical clarifications with suppliers and internal stakeholders
•    Participate and manage projects
•    IT infra supplier management
•    Budgeting and cost-follow up
•    Support Nordic IT and digitalisation strategic planning
•    Collaborate with division and group IT stakeholders

As an IT Infrastructure Service Manager, you will have the key role in developing our IT infrastructure for our business and operations to be successful. In today’s business environment the only permanent thing is the continuous change, and our goal is to turn that to our advantage as continuous improvement. This also requires us to continuously develop our skillset. The role requires traveling and physical presence in our mills in Finland and in Sweden but working remotely is also possible to some extent. Availability during normal business hours is assumed.

Qualifications 
 
In order to succeed in this role, we expect you to have: 
•    BSc or MSc degree in relevant field, and at least 3 years working experience in similar role 
•    Good knowledge and hands-on experience of IT infrastructure (workstations, handheld devices, servers, storage and back-up systems, network (LAN, WAN, WLAN), telecommunication cabling and standards, server applications and databases
•    Profound knowledge and certificates in some of these fields are seen an advantage
•    Technical competence in both infrastructure & application development
•    Windows servers
•    Linux servers
•    VMware
•    Active directory
•    Storage / backup systems
•    Network (LAN, WLAN, firewalls, SD-WAN)
•    Cloud infrastructure (Azure) 
•    ITIL

•    Good knowledge and understanding of the industrial environment (IT/OT separation)
•    A proven team builder
•    Excellent communication & co-operation skills both verbally and written in English.  Finnish and/or Swedish language skills are an advantage.
•    Team leading skills

We also expect you to be proactive, business-oriented and interested in infra-related topics and that you are keen to learn more.
 
Experience in similar role with multi-site environment is seen to be advantage.
