Manager, Strategy and Business Development

We are looking for a Manager, Strategy and Business Development to join the Wood Products Strategy team of six professionals. You will report to the VP Strategy and Business Development. This position can be based either in Helsinki or Stockholm. Working from other Wood Products locations can also be discussed.

 

In this role you will manage strategy development in Wood Products Division in tight co-operation with business management to identify, screen and select the most attractive business development initiatives for implementation. You will provide analysis and reports on the competitive environment of the global wood products markets to be utilised in the strategic decision making. In addition, managing concept and prefeasibility studies for strategic investments and investigating M&A opportunities as an alternative implementation route for growth plans.

Qualifications

 

Are you the one? We are looking for a proactive and service-minded person with minimum of five years of experience in strategy or business development as well as knowledge of wood products manufacturing processes and markets. University degree in economics or engineering forms the basis of your expertise. You communicate fluently in English while other languages are considered as an advantage. Ability to travel mainly within Europe is also required in this role.
