Business Line Controller

We are looking for Business Line Controller to join our Business Unit Consumer Board controlling team and Business Line, FBB & SBS core team. Folding carton board business is one of the growth engines for the Packaging Materials Division. In this role you work together with wide stakeholder network to develop the business line performance. The preferred location is Helsinki or Stockholm, but we can consider candidates from any Stora Enso Packaging Materials locations in Europe. Business Line Controller will report to VP Controlling.

About the position


In this role you will act as a Business Line Controller and support Business Line Head to manage business growth, profit and loss and operative working capital of the Business Line. You will also be part of the Business Line core team.


The role includes a lot of interaction with sales and supply chain teams, and co-operation with Packaging Connects and R&D teams. There is a strong growth agenda in this business line and the latest proof point of that is the ongoing feasibility study in Oulu mill.
Depending on your personal qualifications and ongoing projects in the Division, you may be assigned responsibilities in the strategic projects related to business development.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:


•    Active participation in business line’s strategic planning and strategy implementation
•    Co-ordinate annual business planning and follow up
•    Business line demand planning and balancing for rolling forecasting process
•    Operational support to take fact-based decisions
•    Key account negotiation support
•    Support to annual contract negotiation process
•    Customer and product profitability analysis
•    Managing / participating in IT and other development projects
•    Execution and development of Business Line monthly reporting

Skills and qualifications needed in the role:


•    University or University of Applied Sciences degree in economics or other relevant area 
•    5+ years of relevant work experience
•    Fluency in English language
•    Business acumen
•    Strong analytical skills and general interest in data analytics
•    Strong communication and influencing skills 
•    “Data story telling” -capability to deliver the key message
•    Proactivity and development mindset
•    Capability to challenge the team in proactive manner
•    Hands on attitude with systems and tools
