Senior IT manager

Working location: Beihai, Guangxi, China

Responsibilities:

As a Senior IT Manager you will be leading a team of IT professionals located in Beihai. Your team is responsible for the maintenance and development of the technical infrastructure and applications of our Board manufacturing and Forestry operations. In addition, the team works on optimizing our business across South-East Asian market with the help of right digital means. Furthermore, the team is an essential contributor on digitalization development roadmap related to maintenance, safety and transparency within our supply chain. Your job is to continuously seek opportunities to optimize our digital landscape to drive value for our business. We are expecting you to co-operate effectively with the other IT Managers of our Division located in Europe to find opportunities to use common applications and share working practices. You will work closely with the key stakeholders in different functions to define and execute the development roadmap to reach our strategic goals.

 

Qualifications :

In order to succeed in this role, you have experience in people manager role and have passion to develop the people in your team. You have previous work experience in working in positions dealing with Information Technology and what drives you is the business value what we can get from IT. As a person, you are self-driven, curious-minded and pro-active towards your stakeholders. It is vital that you possess strong communication skills and you are able to modify the communication style based on the group you are communicating with. Experience in supplier negotiations and supplier management overall is an asset for this position. 

You communicate fluently in Chinese and English, other languages are an asset. This position requires some travelling.
