System Specialist - Automation, WP

Stora Enso is looking for a System Specialist - Automation, Wood Products. Your location will be one of our four CLT sawmills in Europe (Czech Republic, Austria or Sweden) and you will be working in Wood Products Division.

Wood Products division provides versatile wood-based solutions for building and housing. Our product range covers all areas of urban construction including massive wood elements and housing modules, wood components and pellets. We also offer a variety of sawn timber goods. Our customers are mainly construction and joinery companies, merchandisers and retailers. Wood Products operates globally and has more than 20 production units in Europe.

 

We are looking for a System Specialist that will be part of our Automation team, for supporting IT/OT systems at CLT factories together with other stakeholders. To be successful in this position, you have a good knowledge of Oracle databases and you are self-motivated with a strong driving force to work with industrial production systems.

 

As a System Specialist - Automation you will be responsible for:

  • Support IT/OT systems and related databases and other system components
  • Perform problem-solving, identify and resolve system issues 
  • Work with the stakeholders to define business requirements and system changes
  • Coordinate requests for system providers and other stakeholders 
  • Support system harmonization
  • Promote new functionalities to the end users
  • Maintain documentation, end user instructions and other related documentation

 

Requirements for applicants:

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of international team 
  • Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Proven practical knowledge of Oracle databases and good general IT knowledge
  • Ability to speak and write fluent in English


You will report to Manager - Automation, Wood Products.


Location: CLT mills; Ybbs an der Donau or Bad St. Leonhard im Lavanttal, Austria, Ždírec nad Doubravou, Czech Republic or Gruvön, Sweden
