IT Administrator - Wood Products (m/f/d)

Stora Enso is looking for an IT Administrator - Wood products. Your location will be one of our four CLT sawmills in Europe (Czech Republic, Austria or Sweden) and you will be working in Wood Products Division.

Wood Products division provides versatile wood-based solutions for building and housing. Our product range covers all areas of urban construction including massive wood elements and housing modules, wood components and pellets. We also offer a variety of sawn timber goods. Our customers are mainly construction and joinery companies, merchandisers and retailers. Wood Products operates globally and has more than 20 production units in Europe.


We are looking for an IT Administrator that will be part of our team, for supporting automation of production processes at CLT factories together with other stakeholders. To be successful in this position, you have a good general IT knowledge with focus on databases and some of the skills such as scripting or integrations. You are also self-motivated with a strong driving force to work with industrial production systems.


As an IT Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Support IT/OT (operational technology) systems and related databases and other system components
  • Perform problem-solving, identify, and resolve system issues 
  • Work with the stakeholders to define business requirements and system changes
  • Coordinate requests for system providers and other stakeholders 
  • Support system harmonization
  • Promote new functionalities to the end users
  • Maintain documentation, end user instructions and other related documentation


Requirements for applicants:

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of international team 
  • Self-motivated and be able to work under pressure
  • Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Good general IT knowledge
  • Knowledge of Oracle or Microsoft SQL databases seen as advantage
  • Ability to speak and write fluent in English
  • Willingness to travel


You will report to Manager – Mill IT Wood Products.


Location: CLT mills; Ybbs an der Donau or Bad St. Leonhard im Lavanttal, Austria; Ždírec nad Doubravou, Czech Republic or Gruvön, Sweden

    • This is an information for Austria as required by law. A performance-related salary based on your qualifications, professional experience, and market value. The yearly gross salary for this position is minimum € 50.000,00 plus a variable component. 
  • In Czech Republic:
    • Extra holidays (5 weeks)

    • Cafeteria 800 CZK / m
    • Commuting allowance
    • Meal vouchers per 120 CZK
  • In Sweden:
    • 2% of the base salary is calculated yearly to a value in SEK. You can choose to have this paid out in cash, add it to your pension scheme or transfer the value to extra vacation
    • ITP-plan according to Stora Enso policy based on year of birth and/or income.
    • Wellness and health compensation of SEK 2000,00 per year.
    • 30 days vacation
